Hi, I'm Charita
I grew up in Hyderabad on a steady diet of anime and Pokémon — the kind of kid who paused episodes to work out how a character's eyes were drawn. The first set of nails I ever made was for myself, at my own desk, because I wanted to wear the things I loved on my hands.
Five years on, I've worked salon floors in Bangalore and Hyderabad and done more sets than I can count. That's where I learned the unglamorous half of this craft — fit, curve, how a nail actually wears on a real person for a fortnight. It's also where I realised the work I most wanted to do was the work nobody has time for on a salon schedule.
So the studio came home. Everything here is made at my desk in Hyderabad, one set at a time — sculpted, painted under a magnifier, and packed by me. No printing, no transfers, no AI. If there's a tiny wobble in a brushstroke, it's because a person put it there.
I'm not always at the desk, though. I run pop-up stalls at cultural events around the city and at Pokémon Go meetups — which are my favourite days, because I get to measure people's nails on the spot and talk far too much about brush sizes.

How it's made
Five days, ten nails, one pair of hands
Handmade press-ons aren't printed stickers — every set is built up in layers, and each layer has to cure before the next one goes on. That's why made-to-order takes a little while, and why no two sets come out identical.

Shape
Each nail is filed to your measurements — length, curve and shape are picked per finger, not per pack.

Sculpt
Gel is built up by hand and cured under lamp, one thin layer at a time, until the shape holds on its own.

Paint
The fun part. Every design is painted with a brush under a magnifier — the strawberries really are painted one seed at a time.

Charm
Any 3D work — crystal hearts, bead chains, sculpted bows — is built separately and set in place stone by stone.

Seal & send
A final gloss coat, a full cure, then packed with glue tabs, a file, and a card telling you how to look after them.

Getting the fit right
Sizing is the whole game
A handmade set that doesn't fit is just a very pretty paperweight. There are two ways to get it right, and both are free.
Send measurements
Measure the widest point of each nail in millimetres, thumb to pinky, both hands. Pop the ten numbers in the order notes.
Free sizing kit
First time ordering? Ask for a sizing kit in your order notes. It's posted to you free anywhere in India — try it on, send the numbers back on WhatsApp, then she starts your set.
Made-to-order turnaround is about 7–10 days once sizing is confirmed.

Care & questions
How long do they last?
With glue tabs, a few days — easy to pop off and reuse. With nail glue, one to two weeks. Either way the set can be worn again and again if you take them off gently.
How do I take them off without wrecking them?
Warm soapy water for ten minutes, then ease them off from the side with a cuticle stick. Never pull straight up — that's what breaks both the nail and your natural one.
Can I reuse a set?
Yes! That's the whole point of handmade press-ons. Peel off any old glue, give them a wipe with rubbing alcohol, and store them back in their box.
What if they don't fit?
Message her. If sizing was confirmed from a kit and it's still off, she'll remake the wrong nails. That's why the kit exists.
Do you take custom designs?
Always — that's her favourite kind of order. Add whichever set is closest to what you're picturing, then describe the changes in the order notes, or send a mood board. You'll agree the design and the price together before anything is made.
How does payment work?
Send the order request first — it costs nothing and commits you to nothing. She'll message you on WhatsApp with the final total including shipping. Pay by UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm) or bank transfer, and your set goes into the queue. Cash on delivery is available too — just ask.
Where do you ship, and how long does it take?
Shipping details coming soon. Once your set is finished it goes out by courier and usually reaches you in 3–6 days — a little longer for the North-East and the islands. You'll get a tracking number on WhatsApp the day it ships.
Can I meet you in person?
Often, yes — I do pop-up stalls at cultural events around Hyderabad and at Pokémon Go meetups. It's honestly the best way to order: I can measure your nails on the spot, so there's no sizing kit and no guesswork, and you can see the finishes properly instead of on a screen. Dates go up on Instagram, or message on WhatsApp and I'll tell you where I'll be next.
Do you take custom orders for weddings and functions?
Yes, and they're worth planning ahead for. Bridal and festival sets need more hands-on time, so message at least three weeks before the date — more if you want something elaborate. Send the outfit colours and she'll match them.
